John Kelm

John grew up in Forest Park and his wife Jill grew up in Des Plaines.  John graduated from Walther Christian Academy.  John and Jill have members of Trinity since 1994 and have one daughter and two grandchildren.

John graduated from Concordia University St. Paul, MN in 1974 where he also met Jill.  He taught ten years at the Lutheran School Association in Decatur IL.  John retired after 35 years as a Financial Advisor with Thrivent Financial.  He joined the Trinity volunteer ministry and then became an Elder for 8 years.  After retirement John became a member of the Trinity Foundation Board as a Plan Giving Counselor.
