Tracy Geisler
Born and raised in Wheaton, IL. Earned first Bachelor degree from Southern Illinois University in Early Childhood Education. Worked in various daycare centers, including College of DuPage Lab School, as head teacher. Married and had three children, Cole, Bonnie, and Chance. Was a certified home daycare provider for many years which allowed her to be a stay at home Mom.
Though raised as a Methodist, she became a Catholic at age fifteen. She regularly attended St. John the Baptist with her children and even did home religious education some years. She leaned into her faith as her marriage ended.
With three young children to raise, she shifted careers and earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from College of DuPage. She then worked in an ICU stepdown unit at Central DuPage Hospital. After joining Midwest Heart as a cardiac nurse, she then went to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital where she earned her Bachelor degree in Nursing from Purdue Northwest. She is currently a cardiovascular research nurse for Advocate Research Institute.
After her children grew, got their educations, and successfully launched, she realized that she had love to share. She met her husband, Greg, a widower, initially online. They met soon after and God worked to weave their lives together. Greg invited her to worship at Trinity with him. Very soon, she felt that she had found her “Faith family” and she officially joined the congregation. They were married, at Trinity, in June 2023.
In their spare time, they love traveling, hanging out with Greg’s six grandchildren, visiting wineries and going to basketball games at Valpo. They agreed to “live life” and have enjoyed horse back trail riding in Texas Hill Country as well as goat yoga in Galena! Tracy is beyond excited to become a first time Grandmother in a few weeks!
